Hey everyone i know i know its been long. Didnt feel like blogging alot for quite a while but now I've got THE BLOGGING ITCH. Nah its just the sandfly bites on my hands.

Just came back from a camp at Pulau Ubin. Horrendous. First time my seniors organised this camp so it was damn badly done. We got the weird camp site that was home to a PURE BLACK DOG. Looked pretty well fed for a stray. Wonder what they eat haha.

Anyway we lugged our bags to the Changi Jetty or whatever and boarded the bumboats. Tian Kai paid for my group :D THANKS A LOT DUDE!~ It was supposed to be 2 bucks each. So we hopped on the boat and me and Bryan David were laughing at this weird spinning thing.

Me: Eheh, whats that? -points to a spinning bar thingy-
BD: Uhh i think its a satellite.
- Both stare at the weird thing that has a spinning long red bar-
And we start laughing haha.

Its like some machine thats spinning a long bar, SO COOL but i dont know what it does heh.

Then we reached. I EXPECTED IT TO BE SO MUCH MORE INDUSTRALIZED. Its like Ace camp all over again. See a couple of bike shops, a coffeeshop with old men drinking coffee and lots of dirt. So we went to some flat ground and laid our bags there. Then our group, Group A at that point of time, gathered like other groups and sat down. We were supposed to come up with a group name, a slogan and a cheer.

Zhi Yong( Senior in charge of our group ) : Ok im supposed to let you all do this yourself.
-Then why the heck did he sit with us, ahh well-
Zhi Yong : Ok first come up with a group name
Me: Lets call ourselves The Niggers.


Zhi Yong didnt really approve and a few other names came up but in the end we went ahead with The Niggers :D

Zhi Yong : Ok what about the slogan?
Omar: I know! ' Theres no such thing as a black nigger '
-Then everyone stared at him-
Omar: Because a nigger is already black, so he cant be a black black what.


Uhh weird logic but we went ahead with it anyway haha.


Then for the cheer i came up with a simple one since nobody was saying anything.

Me: Lets try
Black People are here to stay,
Niggers Niggers all the way! ( Notice it rhythms :D Just saying)
Niggers rule!



Then we decided Omar to shout the last line since, well, he was the Indian and sort of our team mascot haha.


So after that we had team wrestling haha. Its like what rugby players do, push as a team. Ours didnt win heh, ANYWAY, after that we had the cheers.

All the cheesy names man, Dynamite , Dino -something,i forgot- , the rest were even weirder.

Then came ours. THE NIGGERS!

So we cheered then dunno why Omar said something after our cheer

Black People are here to stay!
Niggers Niggers all the way!
-Omar says : Niggers rule! YAMA!-



No idea what that was haha.



After that we began the long walk to our camp site and arrived as this muddy area. Then we got our food. 15 packs of cup noodles, a can of curry chicken, a can of sausages, a can of luncheon meat, a loaf of breads and 2 containers of Nyonya Kaya and Pandan Kaya.



Not bad for camp food though haha. So we started out setting up the tents. To rooty area, so we just picked the best spot we could find. After that we had lunch. Heating up of water, getting curry cup noodles from BD (THANKS) and finally eating.

Then we had Orienteering. 5 points so i thought it would be ok. Had Tian Kai and me ( Orienteering team) so i thought even more alright. Results : SCREWED UP.

They made us get the points in order so it was like ging from one side of Pulau Ubin to the other side over and over. And the others wouldnt run, Zhi Yong made us stick together and the toilet smelled like dead people.

Even worse, we ran out of water haha. Horrid conditions. Lucky there was an OPEN drinks stall at our 4th point. I bought one 100 plus, one bottle of mineral water and one bottle of 7-up. THIRSTINESS!

Then we went to visit the mum of Ms wee's friend. First, we tried fetch water from a well. Lol nobody succeeded in getting the whole bucket out. only the master, the grandmother :D Then we saw her toilet and bathroom, a hole. -Promised not to say anything =P-

After finally filling out a pail of well water, we brought it to her house. Then we washed our faces with the water. SO COOLING. Ms Wee said because it was rainwater.

Then we had the nightwalk. After everyone was so tired, we had night walk. OMG. There were 3 activities. One was the trust walk, another was the night walk, lastly was the duo night. The trust walk i was the ic so i had to guide my group that was blindfolded outside a path with obstacles by using clock directions.(9 o' clock or 3 o'clock etc.) Ms Wee said my instructions were clear :D. Then came night walk. FIrst time walking around here then Ms wee said very comforting words.

Ms Wee: Boys, this is our first time coming here so there is no guarentee we will be able to find our way back to camp site.

And she wanted all lights off so it was pitch dark, literally couldnt see anything. Then we reached the beach when we could see by the moonlight. Half an hour of rest, a few people fell asleep including me haha, had a horrible headache. Then we walked to the forest for our duo night. I paired up with John so we were waiting for our turn and he sat down. I felt tired so i wanted to seat down too. I got behind him, put my hands on the floor. And felt it get swarmed by unknown stuff. OW OW OW OW OW OW OW! Bites everywhere, SUPER PAIN WTH! Then Eng Chik came over and shined, bloody column of giant ants walking in a line and i apparently put my hand in their path. Dumb luck. John just missed them so he jumped up once he saw the ants beside him haha. Then we went in. Ants everywhere around our area so i was constantly swatting them WHILE JOHN FELL ASLEEP. After 20 minutes he woke up and we starting talking about a new game, BioShock hahahaha. It was meant to be reflection.

Then we went back to campsite, out of our 5 people in or group. 2 slept in the tents haha, me, Tian Kai and Bryan Tan slept outside. Loved it. Nice and cool. It was actually freezing but i slept in my long army uniform so it was just nice for me. Then it started raining at 3+. Tian Kai woke me up so i sat long dazed, looked around. I just turned around before seeing two big dogs just behind me. Then their eyes were red colour cos of the moonlight, got a shock haha.we rushed inside and i had to bring my muddy boots in cos i FORGOT MY EXTRA SCHOOL SHOES. Dumb luh. Then it rained and rained and rained so we just slept in. Supposed to get up at 6+ for PT but we still stayed in all the way haha. Then at 8+ Zhi Yong cme and stole away our bread just when we were deciding to open it for our breakfast.

SO we waited and waited til they called us. We went there and had our bread with kaya. The Facilitators kept telling us to go back once we ate but our tent was flooding, there was sheltered so i just stayed despite them kept telling me haha. Argued with them about our tent until they finally let our group stayed under their hut. Then the owner of the land we were in, the black dog came along. I fed him KAYA muahaha, he loved it. Panda and Nyonya, gave him those that was done and had abit left at the base. He raped them to bits, it was sparkling clean once he was done haha.

So in the end we went back to Singapore without any activities YAY. Passed the rotating bar thing in the bumboat and laughed at it with BD again. Then we went to the beach area at changi. I cooked my noodles and went to sit at the beach with Alistair while chatting. EVeryone rushed to buy chips and drinks at the snack stall haha. Then we boarded bus, went to East Coast for our sec 4 farewell barbeque. GOODBYE SENIORS! Damien was in charge of food so being the perfectionist he was, he wouldnt let anyone get near. Dont know how he did it but he touched the hot grill at the charcoal pit and didnt even flinch. I took a can of 7-up and went with Harold to the beach and lay down talking about alot of stuff haha. Watched sunset, had fun until Benjamin came along and became noisy. So we just kept quiet until he went away xD

Then we went cycling and all until me and Harold decided to go for The Learning Lab so we got a cab and went there. A good samaritan helped us by fetching us to a place that was easy to hail a taxi. THANKS DUDE. Anyway it feels good to blog again =) Im back to it! BYE!
